Since @ts-expect-error
disables type-checking for the whole following line, can we extract a const midLogEvent = this.#logEvents[mid];
and only disable type-checking for that?

I just wanna make it consistant between the unstructured & structured getLogEventIdxByTimestamp
, which return -1 for not found, since their return type is std::ptrdiff_t
